Having grown up in Colorado , I have always followed the Xterra and games with great satisfaction had the opportunity to get a glimpse of Max about how he trains and what is expected in the future?
Q. Looks like a full work schedule , a new girl and operation, which is a day in the life like for a professional runner ?
A. It tends to vary a lot, but I would say , wake up Xterra Running, breakfast with the fame, the head of my career in the morning, go to work Foot zone , a runoff or training in the afternoon / evening homecoming more family time . It always seems like I can not get into a regular routine. Always busy day around my training at the moment, but it's always something new Xterra Running.
Q. What's on tap for next year on 2016 Xterra Olympic Training and racing in general? It seems that expand its versatility to understand short C races and ultra-endurance racing Xterra Running?
A. Many come this year. Many trail races and some ultras . My main goal this year is to get as many teams in the World Championship as possible Xterra Running, including , C (Cross Country ) , Y2K ultra trail and mountain races. I have not even started thinking about the upcoming Olympics , but I'm sure you will have a career in at least one event in the Olympic trials.
Q. Path or track ? I'm sure everyone has their moments Xterra Running?
A. Safe Passage . Yes , the track has its moments and I love to run fast , but I prefer running on a track all day.
Q. Favorite routes you can share ?
A. It's like when someone asks if I have a favorite in the race : they are all so different and spectacular in its own right that I can not list Xterra Running. Each has a unique aspect of what makes it special. Apart from that , one of my favorite areas to work in Eastern Alps. All with a spectacular shelter system compared to anywhere else in the world trails Xterra Running.
Q. Nutrition ? Meat or not? Are you a calorie tracker or just burn fat?
A. Meat, absolutely . I give big props to any vegetarian athlete who can work well. There may be a system out there that is perfect for athletes Xterra Running, raw , vegetables , vegan , pale, high carbohydrate , high protein , but also enjoy food as being confined to a particular diet . I can not do it. I do not mind the calories Xterra Running. I try to eat a healthy balanced diet . My weight does not change and does not have time to keep track of calories.
Q. Outside the race , how do you prepare mentally and physically for the race? .. Yoga ? , Strength Conditioning ? Bikes ? Goodies ?
A. Physically , I try to do some weight training Xterra Running, low weight and / or yoga once or twice a week. During the winter , I began to do some ski touring that helped me with my ability to climb. Mentally, nothing special, other than finding an exercise regimen that is sustainable . I think that's the most important to the careers of many athletes , who do not understand how to make it viable in the long term and end up exhausted Xterra Running. So do what I do . I'm motivated and I love running in the mountains , but I also like a good workout and track. If I feel like I 'm burning, I 'm taking a break or reduce the workload.
Q. Do you use technology , fitness , appliances or applications for training and racing ?
R. I do not much about the support, but I think one of the most important things for athletes who are really trying to get faster and fit heartbeat Xterra Running. This is the most important step you can take , so you use a Polar heart rate monitor during training in almost all my races . Tracking the miles that way also with a GPS but it is really secondary to human resources and time on my feet.
Q. Widgets and apps that you would recommend to our readers Xterra Running?
A. My favorite was the Polar RCX - 5 GPS . Polar is the best in the business of measuring human resources and important system with a GPS sensor besides me Xterra Running. I am wearing the watch as a unit and all- in-one just does not work for me. The RCX -5 is small enough to carry all the time and I can not enter the GPS unit w / battery life 20 h with HR belt when I head for the door .
Q. Songs couples that come to mind that you take on the hill during training or competition?
R. Not normally listen to music when I run Xterra Running, so it is usually the last thing I heard him hit his head . Pretty boring actually . I'll warm up to Linkin Park and most of the times I can do pretty excited for a shorter race .
Q. Some basic tips for those looking to improve their skills in management Xterra Running?
A. Train. There is no secret formula or a pill you can take to improve Xterra Running. It's hard work , pure and simple . How to pack the most training in a short period of time, is to make the city of hills . Working speed and strength in disguise is what my old coach said Xterra Running.
